NATCHEZ – Funeral Services for Robert Lee Briscoe will be held on Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, at Marblestone Baptist Church with Pastor Edward Brown officiating.

Mr. Robert Lee Briscoe was born on Oct. 9, 1933, in Natchez to Minnie B. Snowden and Gerard Briscoe.

He was baptized at Marblestone Baptist Church under the leadership of A. F. Williams.

Robert Lee Briscoe, preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Ida Mae Barber, Mary Elizabeth Walker, Naomi Brown, and Mattie B. Terrell; five brothers, David Perry, Gerald Lee Brisco, Tommy Brown, Willie Briscoe, and Henry Brown, and sister-in-law Lena Stewart.

Robert Briscoe is survived by a sister, Joe Francis Swayze of Natchez; sisters-in-law, Marasalis Brown, and Maria Brown of Natchez; aunt, Alma Lee Brown, of Jackson; special nieces, Lyvonne B. Patrick (Alfredia) of Natchez; Carolyn McKenzie (Stanly) of Biloxi, MS; Daisy Brown of Natchez; Leslie A. Parks (Tyron) of Texas; Delores Johnson (Aaron) Jacksonville, FL; nephew, Greg Brown (Yvette) of Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Robert Lee is also survived by his loving and special extended family Peggy Rice, Cornelia Stewart, Mack Rice, Keasya Stewart, Jordan Dillard, and a special friend, Lonzo Brown.

Burial will follow at Pry’s Temple under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
