Jason Furr joins UMB as senior vice president/lending in Brookhaven market

NATCHEZ — UMB has hired Jason Furr as its new senior vice president/lending.
UMB officials said in a press release that this strategic addition reflects the bank’s commitment to expanding its exceptional lending services.
With 28 years of experience in the banking and lending industry, Furr brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the local market, according to the press release. He has a proven track record of helping businesses and individuals achieve their financial goals through customized lending solutions and personalized service.
With a strong history of success, Furr will play a key role in advancing the bank’s strategic goals and expanding its portfolio in the Brookhaven area.

Furr joins UMB from Pike National Bank, where he served as city president. He previously worked at State Bank and Trust as vice president/lending and as a business banker at Trustmark National Bank.
Involved in the community, Furr served as past treasurer of the Noon Kiwanis Club and is a member of the Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce. After graduating from Brookhaven Academy, Furr attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where he received a degree in Business Management. He is a graduate of the LSU Graduate School of Banking and the University of Mississippi
School of Banking.
Married to Chasity Hutchinson Furr, they have two sons, John and Blaze. The family attends Fair River Baptist Church.
