NATCHEZ — Commercial development along Seargent Prentiss Drive in Natchez near Walmart continues to move forward.
Richard LaNasa said the Pure Car Wash will be open on Friday, Aug. 23, offering free car washes to anyone who wants one. The car wash will open for business on Aug. 24.
“The equipment at Pure Car Wash is state of the art and safer than any wash you can go through. We will have three lanes and members will never have to wait. Everything is automated,” he said.
If you wash your vehicle twice a month, a membership will save money at Pure Car Wash.
“We will have 24 vacuums so no one will ever have to wait for a vacuum. Most competitors have 10. We are built for speed,” LaNasa said.
His son, Grant LaNasa, oversaw the construction of the Pure Car Wash location in McComb and now in Natchez.
“I think he’s done a great job,” LaNasa said.
And, Zaxby’s, which is locating on the lot beside Pure Car Wash, began moving dirt for construction of its Natchez restaurant this week, LaNasa said.
“I imagine they go pretty fast” when Zaxby’s builds restaurants, he said.
Glenn Green of Paul Green and Associates Realtors, brokered the sale of the land to the person who will own the Natchez Zaxby’s restaurant. He said the owner of the Zaxby’s restaurant in Natchez also owns several others.
LaNasa and his partner, Johnny Bordes, own the former Natchez Community Hospital property, which is for sale.
“Construction prices are so high right now, I expect it will take a while to sell and something developed on it,” he said.
