CONCORDIA PARISH, La. — A Roxie, Mississippi man has been arrested in Concordia Parish for allegedly kidnapping and injuring a dating partner on a hunting ground in Concordia Parish early Monday.

Kevin Priest, 58, has been charged with false imprisonment and domestic abuse charges following the alleged kidnapping incident.

Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office officials said deputies responded to a 911 call about a kidnapping on Glasscock Island in the parish at around 4:30 a.m.

A female victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries, the sheriff’s office said.

The case remains under investigation.
