NATCHEZ – C. B. Jones, Jr., 73, of Natchez passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 19, 2024.

He was born on Sept. 13, 1950, in Natchez, the son of Carney Bernard Jones and Mabel Pender Jones. 

C.B. is survived by his wife, Bartley Nash Jones; two sons, Justine Stallone Jones and wife, Melissa of Bandero, TX, and Zachary Evan Jones and wife, Erika of Pearl, MS; a sister, Molly Echols of Baton Rouge, LA and a brother, Jake Jones and wife, Norma of Natchez, and beloved nieces and nephews. 

C.B. was preceded in death by his parents, Carney and Mabel Jones of Natchez.

He was a long-time member of the Chateau Ghetto Hunting Club in Franklin County. C.B. was an avid supporter of the Wounded Warriors and St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Remembrances can be made through contributions in C.B.’s honor.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
