NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Georgia C. Oliver, 81, of Natchez, who died on Saturday, July 20, 2024, in Olive Branch, will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Pastor Clifton Marvel officiating.

Burial will follow at the Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 3:30 until 4:30 p.m. at the Greater Macedonia Baptist Church and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Born on Oct. 31, 1942, in Natchez, Georgia was the cherished daughter of the late George Albert Collins and Emma Collins Lewis (Fritz).

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Allen B. Oliver; her parents, and her brother, George Albert Collins, Jr.

Georgia is survived by her loving daughter, Staci A. Turner; son-in-law, Kamiah Turner; grandson, Avery Allen Oliver; granddaughters, Kelsey Allyse Turner and Kennedi Alexis Turner; goddaughter, Kristin Hogans; sisters, Dorothy Jean Hogans (Charles), Emma Rose Jackson (Larry), and Willie Mae Jefferson; brothers, Willie Ray Sims, Elijah Lewis, Cornelius Lewis, and Roy Lewis; special daughter, Annette Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
