CLAYTON – Funeral services for Charles Walker, 59, of Ferriday, who passed on July 3, 2024, were held Friday, July 12, 2024, at Rising Sun Baptist Church in Clayton. Burial followed at Clayton Garden of Rest Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Mr. Walker was born in Pineville, LA, the son of Charles Madison and Alice Wiggins, and died at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Clinton Jefferson; one brother, Glenn “Tick” Wiggins, and his wife, Patricia Bowser Walker.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories, his three sons, Charles Jefferson of Vidalia, LA, Clifton Jefferson, and Marcus Jefferson both of Ferriday, LA; three daughters, Lausha White (Willie) of Port Gibson, MS; Sabrina Jefferson of Alexandria, LA, and Jasmine Jefferson of Dallas, TX; three brothers, Michael Wiggins (Jeannette) of Clayton, Ernest Wiggins (Kimberly) of Houston, TX, and Ken Wiggins of Oklahoma, OK; two aunts, Laura Madison, and Ethel Lee Rosenthal; two uncles, Robert Davis (Patricia) all of Clayton and Robert Madison; a special friend, Alice Jefferson, both of Ferriday; sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
