Natchez 10U All Stars finish as runners-up at World Series

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Natchez 10U All Stars finished as runners-up in the USSSA Recreation World Series held this weekend in Baton Rouge.

The team faced Ranburne 9U in the championship, falling 10-1 thanks to a six-run third inning for Ranburne.

Ranburne took the lead in the first inning, after a triple and an error scored three runs. Ranburne added another run in the second before adding six in the third inning, including an inside-the-park homerun.

Patrick Goldman led the Natchez All Stars with one run batted in and went 1-1. Hayes Bradford, David New, Hayes Lees and Patrick Goldman each collected one hit.

The team includes Patrick Goldman, Miller Burkley, Hayes Lees, Sutton Loomis, Jett Biglane, McKenley Jackson, Noah Johnson, Brandon Brown, Grayson “Cruz” Dean, David New, Erikson Perry and Hayes Bradford.

Head Coach is David New Jr. and assistant coach is David New III.
