VIDALIA – Christopher Blase Bradford, 34, of Vidalia, died on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidalia at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the church until the time of Mass. The celebrant will be Rev. Daniel O’Connor, Pastor. Concelebrants will be Rev. Joseph Xavier Vethammanickam and Rev. Paul Kunnumpuram, former pastors, and Rev. Robert Dore, friend of the family.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Christopher Blase Bradford was born in Natchez on Dec. 19, 1989, to Sharon Butler Bradford and Hunter Bradford. He attended and graduated from Cathedral School, Natchez, in 2008. Blasé attended Mississippi State University. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was employed by Miss-Lou Landscaping, Vidalia. Christopher Blase Bradford will be remembered for his devout love of family and friends and his beautiful, kind, wonderful, and caring personality. He was always willing to help others no matter who they were – family, friends, or strangers. He was an avid sportsman. He loved hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors.

Christopher Blase Bradford was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Webb Bradford; his maternal grandparents, Elbert and Carolyn Butler; and his paternal grandparents, George and Joyce Bradford.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon Bradford; his father, Hunter Bradford (Amanda); his sister, Lenora Bradford; nephew, Zach Tarver; and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be David Adams, Jeremy Butler, Zach Calhoun, Braxton Fondren, Jamie Fuqua, Houston Higgs, Andrew Little, and Rory Wagoner.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Blaise’s favorite charities, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children, or to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Vidalia.
