Natchez OBGYN Dr. Kofi Kumi celebrated the Independence Day holiday Thursday with a round of gold at the Beau Pre golf course and left with something more to celebrate.

He shot a hole-in-one on Par 3 hole number 16 from 139 yards with his 9 iron.

The shot was witnessed by James Lee, making it official.
