NATCHEZ – Graveside services for Theresa Benhaim Torrans, 85, of New Roads, LA will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Theresa Torrans was born on Thursday, Dec. 8, 1938, in Marrakesh, Morocco, and passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Pointe Coupee Nursing Home in New Roads, LA.

She was preceded in death by David Torrans; daughter, Sonya Torrans; parents, Elie N. Benhaim and Mesody Pinto Benhaim; sister, Simi Levy, and brothers, David, Lazarus, and Joseph Benhaim

Theresa is survived by her sisters, Perla Bonan of Nahariya, Israel, and Marcelle Skera of Jerusalem, Israel; daughters, Sheryl Sutton of San Diego, CA, and Regina Donald and Reggie Chandler of Brusly, LA; special family, Krista Palich and her husband, John of Brandon, MS and daughters, Karen and her husband, Jerod and Emily and her husband, Ryan; step-sons, Jamie Crowe and his wife, Megan of Norman, OK and Rodney Crowe of Dallas, TX and two grandsons, Glen Donald and Katie Peasley and Gerard “Rod” Donald II and his wife, Lauren. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Jett, Jack, Lyla and Celie

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
