DEER PARK, LA — Maria Greer James, 64, transitioned from this world on June 24, 2024, at her residence in Deer Park.

She leaves behind her husband, Kevin James; daughter, Jennifer Archer; son, John “Max” Breithaupt; sisters, Carlette Williams, Helen Mitchell (Chris), Monica Rushing (Ken), Shawntel Brown; brothers, William Carlton Greer, Jr. (Jennifer), Bill Brown (Carol); ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and lifelong friend, Martha Ashley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Carlton Greer, Sr. (Helen) and Mary Grace Greer; daughter, Theresa Ann Johnson; sister, Rita Jean Perrault; and brother, Harry Brown.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Sunnyside B and B, 102 Rembert Street, Natchez on Friday June 28, 2024, at 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Laird Funeral Home, Natchez, to help with her final expenses.
