NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Ja’Kalin Ke’Adrian Adams, 22, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in Alexandria will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at the New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the Southwood Lodge Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 7 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue on Saturday at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
Ja’Kalin was born May 22, 2002, in Natchez, the son of Ashley R. Willis and Jimmie “Neil” Adams. He was a Natchez High School graduate with the Class of 2020. He was employed with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters as a scaffolder. Ja’Kalin was a member of the Fastlane and Outrageous Outlaws Four-wheeler Club and the Fleming Hunting Club. He was an avid outdoorsman. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers. Ja’Kalin was “always working on something.”
He is preceded in death by his father; grandfathers, Jimmie “Neil” Adams and Mose Edward Warren; great-grandfather, Jimmie Adams; and uncles, Bradford Willis and Adrian L. Willis.
Ja’Kalin leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Ashley R. Willis; brother, Jaleel Adams; other siblings, LaKeria Adams, Kendall McMorris, Kennedi Adams, Johnathan Henderson, and Queen Henderson; grandparents, Joan Willis, Linda Green, Ethel Adams, and John Rowan (Shewanda); and a host of other relatives and friends.
