JENA, LA – George Robert Couch, 76 of Jena, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

He was born to the union of Sam Henry Couch and Lillian Geneva (Anglin) Couch on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 1947, in Jena, LA.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years who passed this past year, Frances Ruby (Scott) Couch; and a grandson, Zachary Couch.

Those left to cherish his memory are two sons, Bobby Couch and wife, Anna of Caledonia, MS; Sam Couch and wife, Vanessa of Shawnee, KS; and five grandchildren, Clint Couch, Matt Couch, Kyan Couch, Kolton Couch, and Kendall Couch.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Graveside in the Woodland Cemetery of Jena with Rev. Larry Whittington officiating. Burial followed under the directions of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena, Louisiana.
