FERRIDAY – Funeral services for Brenda Lee Foster Johnson, 58, of Ferriday, LA, who passed away on May 10, 2024, at her residence, will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Ferriday, LA with Pastor Leroy White officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation service will be held Friday, May 16, 2024, at Zion Hill Baptist Church from 6 until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, May 17, 2024, at the Zion Hill Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until the service time.

Brenda was born Aug. 29, 1965, in Ferriday, LA, to Johnnie Artie Foster Sr. and Hattie Mae Davis Foster.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Hattie Mae Davis Foster, and two brothers, Johnnie Foster Jr. and Johnny Mack.

Brenda’s memories will be cherished by her husband, Robert Lee Johnson; one daughter, Andrea Foster; one son, Kendrick Johnson and wife, Destiny; four grandchildren, Kaylyn White, Andrew Foster, Madisyn Foster and Kameron Johnson; four siblings, Arlene Anderson and husband, Willie, Lula Woods and husband, Otis; Lora Carter and Paul Foster and wife, Sherry; one aunt, Helen Frazier; two godchildren, Kindrell Plains and Helen Buard; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
