NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Herman Lee Winston, 58, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 28, 2024, in Natchez will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 11 a.m. at West Gate Funeral Home (George F. West, Sr. Memorial Chapel) with Pastor Roderic Lewis.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Herman was born June 10, 1965, in Natchez, the son of Clyde and Luther Winston. He was a 1983 graduate of North Natchez High School and was a truck driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Luther Winston, Jr.; sisters, Donna Havard and Geraldine Wilson; and niece, Khloe Williams.

His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his sons, Justin Gaylor and Jaron Thompson; daughters, Audrey Winston, Brittney Winston, Umekia Winston, and Talisha Winston; brothers, Edgar Winston and Rev. Johnny Elery; sisters, Pernella Green, Betsy Winston, Dorothy Roberts (Tennie), Luvenia Gaylor, Wanlia Williams, and Geneva Bacon; and a host of other relatives and friends.
