FERRIDAY – Funeral services for Sherria A. Martin, 71, of Ferriday, LA, who passed on April 19, 2024, with her loving family at her bedside, will be at 11 a.m., Monday, April 29, 2024, at The Harvest Baptist Church with Bishop Justin Conner officiating.

Burial will follow at the National Cemetery, Natchez, MS, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 until  6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sherria A. Martin was born April 11, 1953, in Ferriday, LA, the daughter of Gordon and Willie Bell Lloyd.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Martin, Jr.; and her beloved nephew, Gordon Prater.

Mrs. Sherria A. Martin is survived by her three sons, Lawrence Gardner, of Ferriday, LA, Zachary Whitley, of Houston, TX, Cedric Webb, of Nashville, TN; two daughters, Jakora Davis (Maurice), Dimetra Foster, both of Monroe, LA; a special daughter, Robin McCastle, of Ferriday, LA; two brothers, Rodney Lloyd (Shalonda), of West Monroe, LA, Michael Lloyd, of Ft. Worth, TX; one sister, Mary Prater (John), of Milwaukee, WI; eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a number of other family members and friends.
