June 30, 1947 – April 18, 2024

FERRIDAY – Edith Ann Hopkins, 76, of Vidalia, LA went to be with Our Lord on April 18, 2024, at Camelot Leisure Living. Ann was born on June 30, 1947, in Bates County, MO. She retired from the Concordia Parish Tax Assessor’s office. She attended The Vidalia First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hardy Hopkins, Sr., and Elizabeth (Betty) Hopkins.
Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Hardy Hopkins, Jr. (Mary Ellen), and Thomas Hopkins (Jane); her sister, Mary Hopkins Beard; nieces, Kimberly Luebkeman (Bill), Leslie Hopkins, Sarah Beard, Emily Barfield; nephews, Jeff Hopkins (Sue), Mark Hopkins (Heather), and Brian Cerniglia (Morgan); four great-nieces and four great-nephews, and four great-great-nephews.
There will be a family memorial at a later date.

Memorials can be made to Vidalia First Baptist Building Fund, The American Kidney Foundation, or the American Diabetes Association.
