FERRIDAY – Funeral services for Deloris Osgood, 70, of Ferriday, LA will be held on April 20, 2024, at 11 a.m. from the St. Thomas Baptist Church in Ferriday (Levee Heights) under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Leon Dixon will officiate. Burial will follow at the St. James Baptist Church Cemetery in Frogmore, LA.
Mrs. Osgood, daughter of Bellfield Crumb and Rosie Lee Kelly, was born April 8, 1953, in Frogmore and died April 2, 2024, at Camelot Leisure Living Home in Ferriday.
She leaves to cherish her memories her family: one son, Xavier Schiele and his wife, Kendea of San Antonio, TX; a grandson she raised as her own child, Devonte Schiele and his wife, Carrie of Ferriday; her siblings, Jesse Bloodsaw of Indianapolis, IN; Freddie Bloodsaw and Dors Anderson both of California; William Kelly and his wife, Patricia of Gary, IN. Also eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a special aunt, Margaret Walker of Indianapolis, IN.
Preceding Mrs. Osgood in death are her parents; her husband, Clarence R. Osgood; one son, DeMarco Kelly; one brother, Willie Edwards, and one sister, Brenda Crumb.
