RIDGECREST – Funeral services for Corey Tremel Curry, Jr., 21, of Ridgecrest, LA, who departed this earthly life on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in Vidalia will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Word of Faith Ambassador Center (Natchez) with Pastor Jarrod Bottley officiating.

Burial will follow at Vidalia City Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 8 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Corey was born April 18, 2002, in Ferriday, the son of Danielle Gorham and Corey Curry, Sr. He was a 2021 graduate of Ferriday High School and was employed with Sprint Mart as a stocker and previously employed as an offshoreman. In his spare time, he enjoyed horses, motorcycles, and working out.

He is preceded in death by great-grandmother, Annie Mae Jones-Gorham; grandfather, Sylvester Jones; great-grandfather, Herman Curry, Sr. and great-grandmother, Dorothy Curry.

His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his parents, Danielle Gorham and Corey Tremel Curry, Sr. (Shandria); brother, Ja’Corious Curry; sister, A’Korri Curry; grandparents, Bertha Gorham, Carolyn Turner, Danny McCraney and Rydell Turner, other relatives and friends.
