E-911 director salutes dispatch staff during National Telecommunicators Week

NATCHEZ — April 15 through 21 is National Telecommunicators Week. Annette Fells, director of E-911 dispatchers in Adams County is celebrating E-911 dispatchers and asks Adams Countians to do the same.
Fells spoke to the Adams County Board of Supervisors about her staff and honored them Monday morning.
“I want to encourage each of you to celebrate the work you do,” Fells said to her staff members. “The work you do matters, and lives you save matter and you matter.
“I want to thank you for impacting the lives of so many people and truly being the first first responders with a heart of gold,” she said. “You all are heroes to me and I appreciate your professionalism, respect, integrity, dedication, and excellent service you provide to our community with every call you take, not only this second week in April every year but every single day of the year. Happy National Telecommunicators Week.
The Natchez Democrat joins Fells in saluting Adams County E-911 dispatchers and will spend the week introducing them to readers individually.
