NATCHEZ — The next meeting of the Natchez Mayor and Board of Aldermen is Monday at 11 a.m. in the Council Chambers, 115 S. Pearl St., across from City Hall.

The Mayor and Board were initially scheduled to meet in regular session on Tuesday, April 9, at 11 a.m. However, that date conflicted with the municipal primary election. Recognizing that conflict, aldermen, at their last regular meeting on March 26, voted to move the April 9 meeting to April 11.

However, conflicts with that date developed, and at a quick special meeting on Wednesday, the meeting date was changed to Monday.

The city will release its agenda for the Monday meeting this Friday afternoon.

The Mayor and Board of Aldermen typically meet the second Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m. and the fourth Tuesday at 6 p.m. All meetings are at the Council Chambers, 115 S. Pearl St.
