NATCHEZ – Frances “Andree” Lanehart Chalupnik, 85, of Shiloh, IL, born on Jan. 1, 1939, in Natchez, to Otis and Yvonne Lanehart, passed away at St. Elizabeth’s hospital on Saturday, March 25, 2024.

Andree was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez, in 1957. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art in 1961 from MSCW, (Mississippi University for Women).

Andree was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Yvonne Black Lanehart; brother, Otis Lanehart; sister, Yvonne Bethcelia Benoit; son, Michael Chalupnik; and daughter, Sandee Chalupnik.

Andree is survived by her husband of 62 years, George Chalupnik; daughter, Angela (John) Kalous; brother, Jack (Robbie) Alvin Lanehart; sister, Delores (Lamar) Lanehart Spinks; two grandchildren, Brooke Kalous and Andrew Kalous; goddaughter, Brittny Flores; and many nieces and nephews.

Interment will follow in the coming month at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Natchez.
