Memorial service for Leo Neil Ivy, 82, of Lake St. John, LA will be held at a later date, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Leo was born on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1941, in Springhill, LA, and passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in Monroe, LA. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After returning home, he worked at Armstrong Tire and after the closing, he pursued Truck Driving.
He is reunited with his parents, Leo Ivy and Nellie Birmingham Ivy.
Those left behind to cherish Leo’s memories are the love of his life of 45 years, Martha Jean Elveston Ivy of Lake St. John, LA; son, Ben Ivy and his wife, Lacey of Hernando, MS; daughters, Stacey Walden of Natchez, and Amy Johnson and Kim of Vidalia; step-sons, Steven W. King and his wife, Kimberly of Natchez, and Phillip King of Lafayette, LA; step-daughter, Sherree Sharp and her husband, Kenny of Forney, TX; brother, Gary Lynn Ivy of Natchez; and sister, Diana Elveston and her husband, Tommy of Lake St. John, LA; and a host of grandchildren.
