NATCHEZ — Voters go to the polls today in the city’s municipal primary election. Poll workers at Ward 1 said voting was steady this morning.

Alderman positions in Wards 1, 4, and 5 are up for grabs. The polls are open until 7 p.m.

Adams County Election Commissioner Larry Gardner said voting was “going well” in the three wards with contested races but was predictably slow in others.

Here is a list of all city voting precincts and places.

Ward 1, City Council Chamber Building, 115 S. Pearl Street.

Ward 2, Frazier Elementary School, 1445 George F. West Sr. Blvd.

Ward 3, Cornerstone Church, 321 U.S. 61 South.

Ward 4, Christian Hope Baptist Church, 301 Lasalle Street.

Ward 5, Adams County Safe Room, 323 Liberty Road.

Ward 6, Duncan Park Canteen, Duncan Park Road.
