NATCHEZ — Natchez Mayor Dan Gibson congratulated Miss Ashleigh Johnson, Natchez Miss Hospitality, and Miss Della Book, Natchez Little Miss Hospitality, on Monday at City Hall.

Gibson awarded Miss Johnson and Miss Book with a plaque of recognition honoring them for their achievement, as well as a Natchez pin.

Miss Johnson, 21, graduated from Cathedral High School in 2021. She attended Delta State University and was in Tri Delta Sorority. She is currently attending Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez and will begin studies at the University of Mississippi in Oxford in the fall of 2024. Ashleigh is majoring in biology with the goal of becoming an epidemiologist.

Miss Johnson is a member of the Natchez Garden Club Royal Court.

“We are so proud of these beautiful ladies, who will be representing Natchez in the state pageant in Hattiesburg this summer,” Gibson said.
