NATCHEZ – Services for Billie Faye Morace Pruitt, 81, of Natchez will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bo Swilley and Pastor Robert Wallace officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Laird Funeral Home.
Billie Faye Morace Pruitt “Mawmaw” was born Sept. 17, 1942, and passed away March 31, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.
Billie was born in Natchez and is the daughter of Homer and Loretta Morace.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmy Pruitt Sr.; her mother, Loretta Morace; father, Homer Morace; brother, Homer Ray Morace Jr.; daughters, Regina Pruitt and Denora Pruitt, and son, Larry Pruitt.
She is survived by her daughter, Chrissie Pruitt of Natchez; son, Jimmy Pruitt Jr. of Natchez; eight grandchildren, Kenneth Waters and wife, Tabatha of Mesquite, TX, Aubrey and Tammy Story of Forrest, MS, Jimmy Pruitt III, and fiancé, Davilyn Clifton of Natchez, Candace Duplechin and husband, Joseph Anderson of Natchez, Kayla Pruitt of Natchez, Percy Duplechin and fiancé, Christina Roberts of Natchez, Larra Pruitt, and Samuel Pruitt of Vidalia; 13 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mae Bell Hughes and late husband, Jim Hughes of Vidalia, Lena Twist, and late husband, Johnny Twist of New Era, LA, Trudy Hennessey of Natchez, Geneva Morace of Vidalia, and one brother, Genie Morace and wife, Monica Morace of Vidalia, and a whole host of great nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandson; Kenneth Waters, Aubrey Storey, Jimmy Pruitt III, Percy Duplechin JR., Samuel Pruitt, and Brayden Duplechin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Pruitt Jr., Waylon Sturdivant, Bennett Duplechin, Joseph Anderson, and Murphy Mayberry.
