NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Mary Catrina Wright, 56, of Houston, TX, who passed away on March 14, 2024, will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ervin Dean officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Salem B.C. Cemetery. Visitation services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home chapel.

Mary, affectionately known as “Peachez”, was born on June 5, 1967, in Oakland, CA, to Clara Alexander Wright and John Wright, Sr.

She is preceded in death by her father.

Peachez leaves to cherish her memories her mother and stepfather, Fritz H. Lewis; one brother, John Wright Jr. of Natchez, MS; three sisters, Raven Shantel Wright of Natchez, MS, Vera Nivens of Richmond, CA, and Gloria Singleton of Slaughter, LA; special nieces and nephew, Rayniah Wright and Calnieceya Dee, and Calvin J. Dee, respectively, of Natchez, MS; and special uncle, Claude (Carolyn) Alexander of Houston, TX.
