Services for Patricia Eidt Butler, 80, of Vidalia who died Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in Vidalia will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidalia, LA with Father Joe Xavier officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Mrs. Butler was born on March 30, 1943, in Natchez, MS the daughter of Harold and Nellie Eidt.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She was a 1961 graduate of Natchez High School. She was employed by Turning Pages Books and More.

Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Nellie Eidt; a sister, Jo Ann Willard; a number of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; father-in-law, Elbert Butler, Sr.; mother-in-law, Margaret Butler, and nephews, Adam Willard, Joe Willard, and John Robert Willard.

Survivors include her husband, John Allen Butler; daughter, Rebecca Annell Butler of Vidalia; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; close friend of the family Donna Hugg and family; close friend of the family David Farr and family, and Charlotte Stokes and family.

Pallbearers will be Blasé Bradford, Johnny Myers, Whest Shirley, Bruce Butler, Jr., Keith Kilgarlin, and Robert Cantu.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Smith, Don Lemoine, Freddie Martin, and Johnny Martin.

The family requests memorials be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
