NATCHEZ — Jordan Carriers, one of Adams County’s largest employers with close to 1,000 employees, is ready to cut the ribbon on its brand-new 27,000-square-foot headquarters building at 188 U.S. 61 South in Natchez.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, March 28, at the new facility. Regular and handicapped parking is available at the rear of the building and can be accessed via Col. John Pitchford Parkway.
The flatbed material trucking company celebrated its groundbreaking on Oct. 3, 2022, which was attended by Gov. Tate Reeves and other state and local officials.
Jordan Carriers is a Natchez-based, family-owned business established in 1992 with employees spread out across the Miss-Lou and Florida, Georgia, Washington, Tennessee, Texas, Arkansas and Indiana.
The new facility boasts state-of-the-art conference rooms and offices, an outside courtyard and dining area, showers, laundry and break rooms for employees and a training classroom on the second floor for the accommodation of all on-site staff for continuing education.
Local architects and interior designers were used for the building during its construction and the artwork of local artists is displayed throughout, the company said.
