FAYETTE – Funeral services for Pearllean Hammitte, 73, of Fayette, MS, who passed away on March 1, 2024, will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the Greater Faith Worship Center at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dr. J. L. Hammitte, Jr. officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez, and on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from noon until the service time.

Pearllean, affectionately known as “Pearl”, was born Feb. 2, 1951, in Fayette, MS, to J.L. Hammitte, Sr., and Laura Lean Hammitte. She was a faithful member of the Greater Faith Worship Center mother board.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Pearl leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Adrian Hammitte and Brian Hammitte; five grandchildren; five brothers, Jerry Joe (Ella), Carl (Terry), Alphonse (the late Ruby), Willie (Brenda), and J.L. (Julie) Hammitte, Jr.; one sister, Sherra (Clifton) Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and church family members.
