NATCHEZ — A 16-year-old from Natchez is still missing and has been since 9 p.m. on Sunday.
Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said Wednesday morning that John Fredrick Leckie, age 16, still has not been found.
“We are checking every lead and following every tip, but we haven’t located him yet,” Patten said.
He asked for help from the public to locate the missing teen. Adams County Emergency Management Agency assisted by sending out a community alert Wednesday morning to be on the lookout for the teen, who goes by the name “Ricky.”
“Ricky” Leckie is described as a white male with dark hair who is 6 feet tall and approximately 240 pounds, born on May 21, 2007. He was last seen on Sunday, March 3, at approximately 9 p.m. at his Adams County residence.
If anyone sees him, they should contact the Adams County Sheriff’s Office at 601-442-2752.
