Man wanted for murder spotted in Jonesville, Ferriday

FERRIDAY, La. — A man wanted for murder in Monroe, Louisiana, has been spotted in Jonesville and Ferriday, reports the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
An arrest warrant out of Monroe has been issued for Kevontay Haynes, 26, for first-degree murder, second-degree kidnapping and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office, Haynes was seen driving a dark green 2017 Toyota Camry. The car has Texas tags.
Kevonte should be considered extremely dangerous. If you see this car or the subject, please call 911 immediately and do not approach, CPSO advises.
