NATCHEZ — Firefighters are on the scene now of a blaze at 10 Ratcliff Road in Adams County.

Apparently tires are burning, along with other debris. The property is owned by Johnny Delaughter and operated as a sort of junk yard. Neighbors have petitioned the Adams County Board of Supervisors for several years to get Delaughter to clean up the property.

Supervisors have taken action several times to get Delaughter to hide the tires, car parts and other junk on his property with a fence and to clean it up.

Officials at the scene said no one has been reported hurt yet in the blaze.
