NATCHEZ — Heath is a sweet boy with a heart of gold. He is kennel trained and great on walks, and good with cats and other dogs. He is currently living in a foster home and loves nothing more than to curl up next to his humans on the couch or bed while receiving scratches and snuggles. His gentle nature makes him an ideal Netflix binge watching buddy, and he loves car rides and pup cups. He is sensitive to loud noises and unfamiliar situations and would do best in a low-key forever home. Please visit hoofbeatsandpawprintsrescue.org or text 601-303-0672 for more information and to set up an appointment to meet Heath.
Meet Miracle. She is about 2 years old and was brought to the shelter as a stray. She walks well on a leash and is excitedly awaiting for a new furever home or a temporary foster. The Natchez-Adams County Humane Society Shelter is located at 475 Liberty Road. Visitation is offered Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 601-442-4001.
Next is Sissy. She is 4 years old and was brought to the shelter as an owner surrender due to circumstances beyond her family’s control. She is a very sweet girl and is very talkative. Sissy is patiently waiting for a new furever home and she is already spayed. The Natchez-Adams County Humane Society Shelter is located at 475 Liberty Road. Visitation is offered Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 601-442-4001.
Finally, this is Sarge. Don’t let the name fool you. Sarge is a very sweet, laid back kinda guy. He loves to play and would make an excellent companion pup. Sarge is a hound mix, and you know what that means. He will make sure you are alerted to anything out of the ordinary. Now that is truly comforting to know. Come by and meet Sarge in person. Visiting hours at Concordia PAWS, 1212 First St., Ferriday, Louisiana, are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. A fenced yard or enclosure is a requirement to keep dogs safe.
