NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Edna Ruth Donaldson, 81, of Natchez, who died on Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, will be held on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the West Gate Funeral Home (George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel).

Burial will follow at the Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Edna Ruth Donaldson was born on Dec. 22, 1942, the daughter of Gladys Griffin-Donaldson and Leondus Donaldson, Sr. She attended college and was a retired teacher. Edna was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and reading.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, L. D. Donaldson and Tommy Winston, Sr., Kathleen Donaldson Wallace, and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Donaldson.

Edna leaves to cherish her memories: brothers, Willie L. Donaldson and Leondus Donaldson, Jr. (Sandra); her sisters, Janlyn Donaldson Fleming (Bishop Walter) and Elizabeth A. Johnson (Ricky) and Doris Jointer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
