RIDGECREST – Funeral services for Herbert D. Zeek, 68, of Vidalia, LA will be held Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at 2 p.m. from St. Thomas Baptist Church in Ridgecrest, (Levee Heights) LA under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery in Vidalia. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 until 6 p.m. at Concordia Funeral Home. Pastor Jonathan Jacobs will officiate.
Mr. Zeek, son of Willie and Lessie Neal Zeek was born in Natchez, MS, and died at the LaSalle General Hospital in Jena, LA, He was a farmer and a member of St. Thomas Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one sister, Deborah Zeek Polk; four brothers, Roger Zeek both of Vidalia; Elvie Zeek (Blanche) of Ridgecrest; Billy Zeek and David Zeek both of Memphis, TN. In addition to a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Herbert is preceded in death by his parents.
