FERRIDAY – Funeral services for Curtis L. King, 70, of Ferriday, LA who formerly resided in the Houston, TX area will be held Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. from Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Loamland Cemetery in Waterproof, LA. Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until service time. Pastor Eddie Schiele will officiate.
Mr. King, son of Bennie King, Sr. and Estella Harbor King, was born in Waterproof and died at his residence.
He is survived by his four brothers, Jerry King of Houston, TX; Bobby King of Baton Rouge, LA; Joe King (Kim) of Ferriday and Samuel King of Winnsboro, LA; four sisters, Geraldine Fagan, Martha King Lorraine Marves and Nical King all of Houston. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Preceding him in death are his parents; five brothers, Robert Harbor, Larry King, Bennie King, Jr., Gregory King, and Bennie King. In addition to a niece, Malika King.
