FERRIDAY – Funeral services for Ricky Ricardo Humphries, 64, of Ferriday, LA formerly of Sicily Island, LA will be held Monday, Jan. 22, 2024, at 11 a.m. from Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Burial will follow at the New Zion Church Cemetery in Peck, LA. Pastor Eric Price will officiate.
Mr. Humphries, the son of King and Anna Marshall Humphries was born in Pineville, LA, and died at the Camelot Leisure Living Home in Ferriday. He retired from the State of Louisiana Highway Department as a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his devoted ex-wife, Patricia Humphries of Sicily Island, LA; his siblings, Shellia Robinson (Robert) and Danny Humphries all of Monroe, LA; Wanda Humphries of West Monroe, LA; Evora Humphries of Sicily Island, LA; his twin brother, Micky R. Humphries of Dallas, TX; Shadrick Humphries of Beaumont, TX; King Humphries, III of Oklahoma; his step-children, Renata of Baton Rouge, LA; Denikka of Ferriday and Russell of Arlington, TX; eleven step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; his best friends, Johnny Smith, Keith Bingham and Lonnie Hatten.

Preceding in death are his parents, and two sisters, Diana Humphries and Florida Nelson.
