The house at 83 E Wilderness Road sustained mostly smoke damage during a Sunday evening blaze, authorities said.

Firefighters kept the fire contained to the back bedroom of the house where it appears to have started. The fire was put out in roughly an hour.

NATCHEZ — Natchez Adams County firefighters  are battling a Sunday evening house fire in the Broadmoor subdivision in Adams County.

Firefighters responded to the house fire at 83 E Wilderness Road at approximately 6 p.m. Sunday.
