NATCHEZ — A hunting camp at 123 Ellislie Plantation Road in Adams County was destroyed by fire on Friday night.

Natchez Fire Chief Robert Arrington said no one is known to have been injured in the blaze.

At approximately 3 a.m. on Saturday morning, 9-1-1 dispatchers received a call about the building being fully engulfed in flames.

Natchez Fire Department engines 2 and 4 responded, as did the Kingston and Lake Montrose volunteer fire departments.

Arrington said the building was a total loss. He said the cause of the fire is not known yet, but it is still under investigation
