NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Johnny David Montgomery, 77, of Natchez, MS who passed away on December 5, 2023, at Merit Health Natchez will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Michael Easter officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Natchez City Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 12 p.m. until service time at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel Natchez.

Johnny, affectionately known as “John David”, was born on September 10, 1946, in Natchez, MS, to Lee Roy Montgomery and Eunice Elizabeth Landers Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Eunice Montgomery and grandson, Thomas Montgomery.

Johnny leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Tara Montgomery Rigby; one sister, Alice Thorpe; two grandsons, Zach Montgomery, and Trey Rigby; one nephew, Patrick Thorpe; four great-grandchildren; two special friends, Lee Beard and Andrea Farrish; and a host of other relatives and friends.
