Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm George Barlow, Jr. of Ridgeland, Mississippi announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Alexandra Barlow to William Carter Warren, son of Mr. and Mrs. John William Warren of Pascagoula, Mississippi.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Jackson Academy in Jackson, Mississippi, and is a graduate of The University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing in Jackson, Mississippi. Alexandra is currently obtaining her master’s degree in nursing education at The University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing while employed as a registered nurse in Jackson, Mississippi.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm George Barlow, Sr. of Vidalia, Louisiana, and Mr. Leonard Edward McManus and the late Dr. Joyce Whitten McManus of Natchez, Mississippi.

The groom is a graduate of Resurrection Catholic School in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and a graduate of The University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. He is attending Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi to obtain a second degree.

He is the grandson of Doctor and Mrs. Laurin William Warren of Natchez, Mississippi, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dean Beery, Jr. of Pascagoula, Mississippi.

The wedding will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at half past six o’clock in the evening at Fondren Church in Jackson, Mississippi. A reception will follow at Old Capitol Inn.
