Ferriday police officer charged with malfeasance

FERRIDAY — Concordia Parish sheriff’s deputies arrested a Ferriday police officer on Thursday.
The officer, Dartavious J. Bethley, 27, has been charged with malfeasance in office.
A statement from Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office says the charge is “due to his interference in an ongoing CPSO investigation.”
No other information was provided.
