NATCHEZ — Adams County Coroner James Lee announced another COVID-19 death in Adams County on Saturday, bringing the county’s total death toll to 19.

The victim, Lee said, was an 89-year-old female from Natchez that he pronounced dead at 9:33 a.m. Saturday at Merit Health Natchez.

“COVID 19 is not over by a long shot,” Lee said. “People need to be responsible this holiday weekend. If possible, stay home or follow CDC guidelines. You will be glad you did.”
