A large number of residents turned out Saturday as Adams County Supervisors distributed free COVID-19 facial masks at several drive thru locations in the county from 9 a.m. until noon.

District 1 Adams County Supervisor Wes Middleton with his wife, Lauren, and several volunteers, handed out masks in front of the old K-Mart at 280 John R Junkin Dr. Saturday.

Wes Middleton said a line of cars was waiting when he showed up at 9 a.m. and by 10 a.m. They had given away 130 masks to people who drove through and presented a picture ID to prove they are residents of Adams County.
