Valencia M. Hall is a lifelong resident of Natchez and lives in the Woodlawn Historic District. She is also my oldest sister of seven sisters born to Joseph and Naomi Webb Hall.

Valencia is a Candidate for Ward 1 Alderwoman for the up coming election on April 7, 2020 here in Natchez. Valencia is a retired Registered Nurse & Behavioral Interventionist. A National Board Certified Counselor, National Certified School Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist.

Valencia obtained her early and high school education from Holy Family School and Cathedral Schools. She secured her college degree’s from Providence School of Nursing, the University of Evansville and Loyola University of New Orleans.

Valencia loves her hometown of Natchez and is heavily involved in it’s activities and history by being a part of many foundations and committee’s. She is presently a member of the Natchez Preservation Commission serving as Commissioner. 

She’s a former Trustee of the Historic Natchez Foundation, a former member of the Mississippi Department of Archives and History,  a former member of Holy Family School Advisory Committee, a former member of Cathedral Unit School Advisory Committee, a former Trustee of Seton Health Corp. in Evansville, Indiana. 

Valencia helped develop Perinatal Advisory Boards across the Southern Third of Indiana while an employee of the Indiana Chapter of the March of Dimes. 

Valencia was a member of Leadership Evansville, Evansville. Valencia is an active member of Holy Family Church where she serves as a Catechist, Sacristan and Secretary of the Pastoral Council.

Valencia administers Holy Communion to the sick and shut in members of our Parish each week.    

She is a member of her neighborhood watch program and has been heavily involved in the annual National Night Out for several years and always encourages others to do so as well.

I believe Valencia will be a voice for all citizens of Ward 1 and Natchez.   

She sincerely believes in inclusion. All of Ward 1 should be represented by someone who is available, accountable and transparent, and  Valencia M. Hall is that person. 

Vote for  Valencia M. Hall for Alderwoman for Ward 1 on April 7, not because she is my sister, but because she is the right person.
