The Markets grocery store chain announced Tuesday it will not be publishing advertising for the foreseeable future and therefore will not have any inserts in today’s Natchez Democrat.
“Due to supply and demand, we will not be running ads this week and for the foreseeable future,” said Barry Loy, president at Supermarket Operations Inc., in a press statement. “Shortages of some items in our product supply chain are inhibiting us from creating an accurate ad. We are making every effort to keep our shelves stocked. The Markets could not do this without our hard-working employees. We thank our customers for their patience and support during these trying times.”
