Natchez — Graveside services for Thomas Ray Boyd, 91, of Natchez who died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020, in Natchez will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Matt Buckles officiating.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Boyd was born August 31, 1928, in Clayton, the son of Thomas Jefferson Boyd and Ruby Carr Boyd.

He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Natchez. He spent many years coaching Dixie Youth Baseball, hunting and fishing.

Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Betty Crayton Boyd; his parents and brother, Robert Boyd.

Survivors include his son, Kenny Boyd and wife Rhonda of Natchez; daughter, Judy B. Mason of Natchez; grandchildren, Matt Mason of Natchez; Mark Boyd and wife Kim of Brandon, Kara Mason Masling of Olla, LA and April Bowen and husband John of Vicksburg; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sisters, Juanita Cotton and husband Roy of Jackson, and Evelyn Temple of Des Moines, Iowa; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Matt Mason, Mark Boyd, Tyler Mason, Kyle Masling, John Bowen, Ethan Rymer and Christopher Barraco.
