NATCHEZ— Services for Brenda King White, 57, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Jasper McPhillip officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. White was born Oct. 14, 1962, in Natchez, the daughter of Lee “Mickey” Williams and Irma Sewell Thomas.
She was a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Junior College and Alcorn State University.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie White Sr.; her father; one sister, Ashley W. Marsaw; and grandmothers, Dorothy L. Champ and Curley Sewell.
Survivors include a loving and devoted daughter, JaVera King; granddaughter, Parisch King; and her mother, all of Natchez; stepfather, James King of Seattle; three sisters, Troy Lynn King of Jackson, Vera King of Natchez and Janice Dunbar of Seattle; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
